No. 16

A generation

Imagined, who believe the

Truth of their beauty

Because one’s posture

Towards this world is possibly

The best gift of all

To say, “This is me,

That is you, and together,

We are beautiful”

Tightly holding hands,

Building up, not tearing down

I dream of this day

// a response to this

No. 15

My hands, in cool dirt

The garden, first provision

Where am I rooted?

Calling from the ground

Eden- as it was to be

It’s here, my first home

Beauty and full-ness

On display in this garden

Pleasant sights, nourished

Until I return

Planting, pruning, and caring

Dirt to dirt, amen?
